Kagote Primary school was founded by the Church of Uganda in 1958 and was the first primary school in the area. It began in difficult conditions and operated out of three grass thatched classrooms. OBAAT has assisted with its modernisation by building 2 new classrooms and installing 2 water harvesting systems.
The children here wear beautiful orange-black uniforms, are very interactive, curious and excited to receive new volunteers. The head teacher Christine is very warm, welcoming and looks forward to your contribution to their school.
